PBS Biotech Extending Its International Reach to Europe

Camarillo, California, September 15, 2012 – PBS Biotech Inc. has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with DYNC B.V. to market and sell its Single Use Bioreactor technology into Europe. The initial focus will be on the German speaking countries, Belgium, Luxemburg and The Netherlands.

PBS Biotech makes the next generation single-use bioreactors that grow a wide range of cell cultures, used to develop biological drugs and vaccines. The unique Air-Wheel™ mixing system and innovative product design provide maximum operation efficiency with minimal space requirement. PBS Bioreactors are fully scalable from 3 liters to eventually 2500 liters.

“We want to make our next generation line of bioreactors available around the globe and we looked for a European partner with the knowledge, experience, network, support and dedication to Bioprocessing, required to bring the PBS Bioreactors successfully to its customers. We are convinced that DYNC owns these capabilities and more” says Brian Lee, President of PBS Biotech.

“When we saw the unique capabilities of the PBS Bioreactors coupled with the design and ease of use, we realized the impact it would have on bringing single use Bioprocessing to new levels. The product fits perfectly in our vision to elevate cell biology and we therefore have seized the opportunity to partner with PBS Biotech”, says Pim van der Aar CEO of DYNC.
